Soccer — Sophomore Recognition Day (Saturday, October 18)
On Saturday, NCC recognized its soccer sophomores as they completed their final season as Thunder student-athletes. This group holds a special place in NCC history as members of the second class to wear NCC's colors and continue building the foundation for both the men's and women's soccer programs. Each of these student-athletes has demonstrated dedication and hard work in the classroom and on the field over the past two years.

Soccer — Wednesday, October 22 vs. Western Iowa Tech
Women's Soccer:
In their final regular season match of the 2025 campaign, the Thunder women got off to a fast start when Juliana Zamorano scored in the opening two minutes. Western Iowa Tech responded with three goals to take a 3–1 lead. With 16 minutes remaining, Valery Nuno found Kayla Anderson for another Thunder goal, narrowing the gap to 3–2. Goalkeeper Alexis Hernandez made several key saves to keep the match close, but the Thunder ultimately fell short.

Men's Soccer:
The Thunder men faced a strong Western Iowa Tech squad that led 4–0 at halftime. Early in the second half, Warren Traina connected with Ian Troncoso for NCC's lone goal. Despite continued effort, the Thunder fell by a final score of 8–1.
