Thunder Men's Soccer Battles Hard but Falls 3–1 to Marshalltown

The NCC Thunder men's soccer team fought through a physical ICCAC conference match on Saturday, September 27, but came up short with a 3–1 loss to Iowa Valley Community College–Marshalltown.

• Men's Soccer: 1–3 loss vs. Iowa Valley Community College–Marshalltown
• • Goal: Warren Traina (2nd Half), assisted by Mackenzie Hopkins

Game Recap:
Marshalltown scored first in the opening half on a penalty kick. NCC responded in the second half with a goal from Warren Traina off an assist by Mackenzie Hopkins to even the score at 1–1. The teams continued to battle until the final 15 minutes, when Marshalltown capitalized on two late goals to secure the ICCAC conference win, 3–1.
